New NTSE books for class 10
NTSE- the National Talent Search Examination has been reintroduced for class 10 from session 2012-2013. This is a sudden change in the pattern of NTSE exam and hence there are almost no books available for class 10. The books that are available in book stores are for class 8 which are outdated. However online bookstores have the new books in their stock. So far, only 3 books for class 10 have been released. You can buy them from the links given and pay on delivery.

NTSE for class 10
The NTSE result has been announced and it made many students sad and and a few happy
Out of approximately 4500 students selected for the second level , 1000 have been selected and the rest of the students' dream has been shattered.
Even for the first level more than 2,00,000 appear and this means that only 1 student in every 200 students is selected for NTSE. This makes the other students lose confidence and makes them think that they have lost one of the best chance in their lives to be successful. So here's an idea- let's request NCERT for the reintroduction of NTSE for class 10. The students who weren't selected in class 8 will get another chance. It is not so that a request will not be considered. The removal of interview in NTSE was also someone's idea. So let's all of us start requesting humbly to NCERT. There's no problem in requesting.
Just email NCERT at this email - ntse.ncert@yahoo.in
or call them at this number 011 - 26560464
and request them humbly. Tell them that you have called or emailed to request for the reintroduction of NTSE for class 10.
You can mention some points-
- Most students start their preparation 2 or 3 years ago.
- Even 1 mark below the cut-off leads to not being selected.
- It's only fair to give the children another chance to prove their talent.
- Since NTSE was held in class 10 two years ago , there is no problem in starting it again.
- Getting selected in NTSE can make the future of a child brighter.
Your one request can change your future!
So their is no need to wait , just sign in to your email accounts and request.

NTSE 2011 Final(Second) Level Result
Today, NCERT has done a very wrong thing. They have fooled us. According to some people, this is probably a case of corruption with which almost all Indian government organizations are filled. From many days, NCERT had been delaying the result. First of all the information was that the final stage NTSE result will be available on the 5th of July like last year but since then, we all have just waited. After 5 July, they said that the result will be available 'on' the 15th of July but later this 'on' word changed to 'after'. After that we heard that the result will be declared and made available online on 20 July and again this was not true.
They changed the date to 25th July which was again changed to 30th July. But later they started saying 'after' 30th July.
All the people started checking the site but they found nothing.
Finally on 3rd August, the result link was on the site homepage. But this is where they fooled us. The link was wrong and was actually of a calender of the events to be organized. Later they gave a NTSE_Result file which was also a trick and was a corrupt file.
After this , there were so many people on the site that the site went down and wasn't opening properly.
NCERT says that the delay in the NTSE results is due to the errors in the question paper.
Now let's see what happens.
NTSE 2011 Second stage results
The first level of NTSE 2011 was held on 21st November 2010 in most states. There were no problems except some errors in the question papers of a few states. The result was declared in April of many states. The second level was held on 8th May across the country and some errors were found in that question paper also. This was the reason which NCERT gave for the delay in results of the second level of NTSE.
In the previous year , the results were announced on 5th July but this year it is very late. NCERT has been delaying the results. Earlier it was said that the results will be available on NCERT's website on 5 July but later it postponed to 10 July which was later again postponed to 20th July.
I phoned at the office on the number given on the website for queries related to NTSE and they said it will be available after the 20th of July.
I've been checking many times everyday but it was never available. Again, I searched the web and found that there were rumors that it will be finally announced at the end of July .
Once again , I called at NCERT's office and they told me that it will be available in August.
Let's see what happens.
For the results, keep checking this page on NCERT's website.

NTSE or N.T.S.E. is a very common search term in Google.I came to know this when I was checking my site's rankings in Google.I posted many articles related to this exam on this website.I also posted previous year papers along with many sample papers which was my own collection from the internet.Actually the problem is that the search engines don't show the correct results for the exam's papers and free online books for download. There are many sites which claim to provide the papers and other stuff for the NTSE exam like http://indiastudycenter.com or http://indiastudychannel.com/ These sites are not useful for the preparation.Only some are really providing the papers like the site named I.I.T scholars but even they provide only two or three sample papers and nothing else.No site either had the previous year papers of NTSE or provided free book downloads for the NTSE Exam.On seeing this problem I immediately posted all the papers and the other things I had with me.
Still the problem is that the sites which really have some papers are not shown in the search results and the sites which have only one paper that is the paper provided by NCERT for the students are shown in the results. There are many books for free download and sample papers along with previous year papers on my site.I have given these links to the previous year papers and sample papers here-
- Sample Papers Here you can see all the papers present on my site.thee are nearly ten papers on my site for NTSE
- Previous year papers-Here is the previous year paper of NTSE.The paper is of 2007 of class 8 but it can be used for all years NTSE preparation as the main syllabus never changes for the exam.
- NTSE Class 8 Book- This is the preparation book for the exam. The book's publisher's name is Upkar. This is the most used book for National talent Search Examination
- Tata McGraw Hill Book-Now "the most wanted book" by the students is this book which is available for free only on this site.No other site provides this book but then too when a user searches for this book my site is not shown in the results page. This book is the best as 90% of all the scholars selected for the scholarship have prepared from this book.
There is also a class 10 book which is now of no use as now the exam is held only for class 8.
There is also too much stuff on this site for the Interview-the most difficult level. The materials include previous questions asked to the students, tips, experience of other students and much more.
